Liam was in the kitchen this morning talking to me and here is the conversation. I got the biggest kick out of how kids confuse words.
Liam: "Mom are you still grumpy like you were the past three days?"
Chris: "Was I grumpy the past three days?"
Liam: "Yeah! Dad is weigh better"
Chris: "Dad's way better huh?"
Liam: "Yeah by like six pounds"
Chris: Laughing!!!!!
Liam: Laughing
Damon: "Nice play on words Liam"
Liam: "Thanks"
Ohhh Liam, Liam, Liam!!!! How you make me laugh! Of course he probably had no idea what we were talking or laughing about, but all he knew was that he made us laugh! Of course then again....kids understand more then we think...so maybe he did understand. I just thought it was cute how we both were talking about two different words! Gotta love kids!

H1N1
So I'm thinking the Boyce family is cursed with H1N1. Not only did Liam and Syndey get it but Jodie and Liz (Damon's parents) and Patrick (Damon's brother) and his wife and whole family get the swine flu. Note: We are in different states! We all have been sick for what seems like forever. Luckily Liam and Sydney have only had high fevers, and a cough. We caught it just in time and the doctor put both of them on Tamaflu. However it hit Damon's parents the hardest and they are still trying to recover from it. Sydney just barely got it and is still on medication but Liam's temp broke and is back in school and seems to be doing okay. However it did cause him to relapse with his Kidney Disease. This could be a temporary thing since he has been sick so we will (once again) wait it out and see if his protein levels come down on their own so he doesn't have to go on any more medications. We are optimistic since last time he got sick they went down on their own, but it always does make things a bit stressful....the anticipation, and not knowing what is to come. I just have to remember not to borrow worries...practically impossible for those of you who know me!

Family Home Evening (Coloring)
So, I know it has been forever since I have posted anything and my apologies for that...seems like time just flies by. We are in our new house in Colorado Springs and are enjoying it now that Damon has a settled in at his job and Liam with school however we are missing family immensley! The kids seem to be growing so fast...especially Sydney (as Im sure you can tell from the pictures). Liam has been doing well with his Nephrotic Syndrome...well atleast the past couple of days have been good. Prior to that the last three weeks he has relapsed and I'm sure the doctors would have wanted us to put him on medication however I felt that it was just because of all the changes going on in his life right now. So we decided not to do anything and just wait it out...sure enough Liam's numbers have started to go down...so lets hope our theory was right! Anyway, the photos below are of a family home evening we had. The kids colored and of course mom went camera crazy! I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed taking them! We miss you and love you all!

Love Lies Bleeding Audition
Damon's brother, Patrick and sister, Hilary are very much into ROCK BAND and since they play SO much Patrick decided he would name the band "Love Lies Bleeding". So far they have three permanent members Patrick (Drums) Hilary (Vocals) Alex (Lead Guitar). Damon isn't a steady member for sheer fact that he doesn't live in town and well that does cause problems. Ashley (Patrick's wife) is busy taking care of the little ones...especially the newest addition only about month 1/2 old! But does find time to play. Every time we end up in Idaho Falls Liam wants to play so badly so we decided that we would make an audition tape to see if he could try out and be accepted into the band. He wanted to take some pictures (so serious) and he also chose the song..."the one the Aunt Hilary sings". So here it is for your enjoyment!

Easter with Nana & Papa

Nana and Papa are my (Chris's) grandparents so Liam and Sydneys Great Grandparents and they just moved to Boise and were able to come spend Easter with us! Since the weather wasnt the best we did an inside easter egg hunt after dinner with just the two kids. I am glad that the kids now live close to their great grandparents and will actually get to know them now!
